Wheelchairs, Tricycles, Calipers, Walkers Also Provided
“Differently-abled individuals should receive equal opportunities in our society. With support from compassionate people, they can achieve remarkable feats,” stated Pavan Gadi, Management representative of TCPWave. He emphasized their goal of leveraging technology to transform the lives of the differently-abled. The artificial limbs provided today have significantly boosted the confidence of the recipients, enhancing their capabilities.
Inspired by this event, TCP Wave believes that more lives can be transformed. As part of their CSR initiative, TCP Wave, in collaboration with Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti, provided artificial limbs, wheelchairs, tricycles, hand kits, calipers, and walkers to 50 identified differently-abled individuals. This event took place on Sunday morning at the government hospital in King Koti.
Speaking at the event, TCP Wave's CSR Head, Swapna Vayuvegula, highlighted the exceptional talent displayed by Indians in events like the Paralympics. She emphasized that with some assistance, differently-abled individuals can lead honorable lives, participating equally in society. Noting that these 50 individuals come from underprivileged backgrounds and cannot afford these aids, she expressed satisfaction in promptly responding to the request from Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti. Swapna also mentioned their future plans to provide similar aids to 500 more differently-abled individuals with the support of the Samiti.
The event saw the participation of notable figures including Sri P. C. Parakh IAS,former Coal Secy, GOI, Shri L N Sharma President of BMVSS, Mr Inder Kumar Secretary BMVSS, FTCCI IT Chairman Mr Mohan Rayudu, senior journalist and political analyst Dr. Suravjjula Ramu, DCSI CEO Dr. Sriram, TCPWave advisor Mr Buchibabu, among others.
